Palmdale Veterinary Hospital is a full-service AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital located in Palmdale, CA and serving the High Desert area of North Los Angeles County, including Lancaster. Admissions
Patients requiring anesthetic procedures should be fasted before arriving at the hospital. They should not eat after 8 PM the evening prior. No restriction of water is necessary. Surgical and dental patients are admitted daily between 7 AM and 8:30 AM.
Patients going home the same day an anesthetic has been administered will be released from 4 PM until 30 minutes before closing (5:30 PM most weekdays, 7:30PM on Tuesdays). Patients whose procedures require next day release can go home any time between 9 AM and 5:30 PM the following day.

Palmdale Veterinary Hospital has received the highest accreditation rating from the American Animal Hospital Association. AAHA has awarded us with its 4-year rating based on our high standards of excellence in 12 areas, which include: Medical Records Services, Examination Facilities, Pharmacy, Diagnostic Imaging, Anesthesiology, Surgery, Dentistry, Nursing Care, and Housekeeping and Maintenance.

Dr. Lynn McEwan has been certified by the California Veterinary Medical Association as an Academy Member for attention to excellence by completion of a minimum of 50 hours of continuing education annually.
